Only one blood group system has been established in domestic cats - the AB system. There are three feline blood groups: A, B and AB. A fourth group - MiK - has also been identified, but not much is known about this group yet, other than the fact that it is very rare (occurring in less than 1% of cats). The prevalence of blood type B varies widely depending on the cat's pedigree.
