Sunflowers are majestic and striking plants that enhance any living space as they look as cheery in a vase as they do in your garden. These flowers boast large, attention-grabbing blooms that are also irresistible to your cat. In fact, your feline companion might see your glorious sunflowers as a convenient snack.
Basepaws is looking for pet parents and their cats to participate in its feline diabetes mellitus (Type II) study. It's free to join and all that it requires is a simple and painless 10 second swab of your kitty's mouth! Donât miss this opportunity to help us develop a new screening test for earlier detection of diabetes that could inform new approaches to intervention and treatment of this common feline endocrine disorder!
February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and Basepaws is excited to share two new pet oral health research projects for which we are actively recruiting: a clinical study on canine periodontal disease with veterinary partners, and a feline stomatitis study with both citizen scientists and veterinary partners.
